Here is a delicious appetizer that is very simple to make! You will only need a few ingredients to quickly assemble this crispy, sweet, and savory snack for your next gathering.
You will need:
2 packages of pre-made phyllo dough cups ( sold in the freezer section of your local grocery store)
1 ball of Talluto's Homemade Burrata Cheese
Any variety of fruit preserves (I used apricot, sour cherry, and blueberry for a variety of flavors and colors.)
2 large sprigs of fresh rosemary to garnish ( Fried crispy in a bit of olive oil)
Freshly ground black pepper
Burrata cheese is a specialty in the region of Puglia, Italy.

Unwrap the burrata cheese and cut it into smaller pieces using a chef's knife.

Open the phyllo cups and place them on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in a preheated oven for 3-5 minutes to crisp.

Remove the toasted phyllo cups from the oven and arrange on a serving tray. Begin filling the cups with your favorite fruit preserves.

Next, add a bit of the fresh burrata on top of the preserves.

Remove the rosemary leaves from the stems. Heat a small amount of olive oil in a pan. Quickly fry the rosemary leaves until crispy. Remove the leaves from the oil before they lose their bright green color. Frying gives the rosemary a delicate, nutty flavor and a tender texture.

Once all of the phyllo cups are filled with preserves and burrata, top each one with a few crispy rosemary leaves and a bit of cracked black pepper.
Serve and enjoy!
