What you'll need:
1 package Talluto's Fresh Cut Penne |
1/2 lb. Bacon or Pancetta, cut into small pieces |
2 stalks Celery, sliced thin |
1/2 cup Onion, chopped |
1/2 cup Carrots, diced |
1/4 tsp. Salt |
1/4 tsp. Black Pepper |
1 can Cento Chickpeas |
32 oz. Cento Chicken Broth |
16 oz. Water |
1 container Talluto's Tomato or Marinara Sauce |
1 tsp. Olive oil |
One Pot Penne & Ceci Soup Directions

Heat olive oil in a 6-quart pot.

Brown the bacon in the oil over high heat for 4 minutes.

Add garlic, celery, and onion. Season with salt and pepper and sauté for 1 minute.

Add the chicken broth and water.

Cover and bring to a boil.

Once the broth is boiling, add fresh-cut pasta. Stir well and cover.

Cook the pasta for 4 ½ minutes until al dente.

Once pasta is cooked, add chickpeas to the pot along with the container of sauce.

Mix well and serve. Top with grated Romano or Parmigiano cheese.
