Ingredients

What you'll need:

1 package Talluto's Fresh Cut Penne
1/2 lb. Bacon or Pancetta, cut into small pieces
2 stalks Celery, sliced thin
1/2 cup Onion, chopped
1/2 cup Carrots, diced
1/4 tsp. Salt
1/4 tsp. Black Pepper
1 can Cento Chickpeas
32 oz. Cento Chicken Broth
16 oz. Water
1 container Talluto's Tomato or Marinara Sauce
1 tsp. Olive oil

One Pot Penne & Ceci Soup Directions

    1. Heat olive oil in a 6-quart pot. 
    2. Brown the bacon in the oil over high heat for 4 minutes.  
    3. Add garlic, celery, and onion. Season with salt and pepper and sauté for 1 minute. 
    4. Add the chicken broth and water. 
    5. Cover and bring to a boil. 
    6. Once the broth is boiling, add fresh-cut pasta. Stir well and cover. 
    7. Cook the pasta for 4 ½ minutes until al dente.
    8. Once pasta is cooked, add chickpeas to the pot along with the container of sauce. 
    9. Mix well and serve. Top with grated Romano or Parmigiano cheese.
