Whole Wheat Linguine with Anchovy Olive Oil and Garlic

What you'll need:

1 lb. Talluto's Whole Wheat Linguine
0.75 cup Olive Oil
8 cloves Garlic, chopped
2 oz. Canned Anchovies, cut into small pieces
0.25 cup Crushed Red Pepper
0.5 tsp. Salt
0.5 cup Pasta Water
Fresh Parsley, chopped
Freshly Grated Pecorino Romano Cheese

Whole Wheat Linguine with Anchovy Olive Oil and Garlic Directions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet.
  2. Sauté the chopped garlic for 1 minute over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the chopped anchovy and crushed red pepper flakes. Continue to sauté until the garlic is golden in color.
  4. Cook the linguine al dente, for 2 minutes.
  5. Once the garlic is golden, add the pasta water to the skillet.
  6. Drain the pasta well and add to the skillet with the garlic and oil. Simmer in the sauce for 1 additional minute.
  7. Season with salt to taste.
  8. Sprinkle with parsley and grated Romano and serve.
