What you'll need:
6 large Talluto's Meatballs |
6 small round/oblong Italian Rolls |
1 container Talluto's Marinara Sauce |
6 oz. Whole Milk Ricotta Cheese |
8 oz. Whole Milk Mozzarella Cheese, shredded |
6 tbsp. Pecorino Romano Cheese |
Panino Mio - Personal Meatball Sandwiches Directions

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.

Heat the meatballs in a microwave for 2 minutes or until warm. (The meatballs can also be warmed in the marinara sauce on the stovetop if desired.)

Cut a circle in the tops of each roll slightly larger than a meatball. Scoop some of the bread out of the center of the rolls to allow the meatballs to fit inside. (see below)

Place the rolls on an oven-proof sheet pan or casserole dish.

Spoon about 2 Tbsps of the marinara sauce into each roll.

Cut each meatball into quarters and place one quartered meatball into each roll.

Dollop a bit of ricotta cheese onto each meatball nestling the cheese into the meatball quarters.

Top each meatball with 1 Tbsp of grated Romano cheese.

Next, add some marinara sauce on top of the ricotta and romano cheese.

Lastly, sprinkle some shredded mozzarella over the sauce.

Bake the meatball sandwiches in the oven for about 10-15 minutes until the cheese is melted and slightly browned.

Remove from the oven and serve immediately.
