Veal Ravioli with Browned Butter and Sage

In Italy, browned butter and sage is a very traditional recipe and is used to prepare various pasta and meat dishes.

What you'll need:

1 package Talluto's Veal Ravioli
4 tbsp. Salted Butter
8 leaves Fresh Sage

Veal Ravioli with Browned Butter and Sage Directions

  1. Cook the ravioli according to the instructions on the package.
  2. While the ravioli are cooking, melt the butter in a sauté pan over medium heat.
  3. Add the fresh sage leaves to the pan with the melted butter.
  4. As the butter melts, it will begin to foam and turn a nutty brown color. The sage leaves should sizzle and become slightly crispy.
  5. Once the ravioli are finished cooking, drain well and combine with the browned butter sauce.
  6. Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste.
  7. Top with grated Parmigiano cheese and serve.
