Fried Pasta Campfire Treat

This yummy recipe is our take on the traditional campfire s'mores treat. We use fried pasta in place of the graham crackers and replace the chocolate bars with chocolate hazelnut spread!

What you will need:

2 quarts Canola oil, for frying
1 pound Talluto's Fresh Pasta Sheets
1 package marshmallows
1 jar Nutella, chocolate hazelnut spread
1 package fresh strawberries, sliced
1/2 cup Your favorite whipped cream

Fried Pasta Campfire Treat Directions

  1. Heat oil in a deep saucepan to 400 degrees.
  2. While the oil is heating, cut each pasta sheet in half lengthwise.
  3. Then cut each half into 4 squares. (24 squares per pound of pasta.)
  4. When oil reaches 400 degrees, place a few squares into the oil and deep fry until golden brown.
  5. Drain the fried pasta on paper towels and allow it to cool slightly.
  6. Spread some Nutella onto half of the squares of fried pasta.
  7. Toast the marshmallow to your likeness and then place 3 marshmallows on each of the 12 squares.  
  8. Complete the sandwich by topping the marshmallows with the other 12 pasta squares.
  9. Garnish with whipped cream, strawberries, and more Nutella, if desired.
