Ingredients

What you will need:

4 pieces boneless chicken breast, thinly sliced
8 oz. mozzarella cheese, cut into sticks
6 large leaves of fresh basil, sliced
1 container Talluto's vodka sauce, thawed
1 1/2 tsps kosher salt
1 tsp black pepper, freshly ground
2 oz water
4 pieces wooden skewers

Stuffed Chicken Breast with Mozzarella Fresh Basil & Vodka Sauce Directions

  1. Place the pieces of chicken breast onto your work surface.
  2. Season with salt and black pepper.
  3. Sprinkle the sliced basil leaves over the chicken.
  4. Place 1 piece of mozzarella cheese at the edge of each of the pieces of chicken.
  5. Roll the chicken breast up and secure each piece with a wooden skewer.
  6. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  7. Placed the chicken into the pan and allow it to sear for about 1 minute on each side.
  8. Lower the heat to medium. 
  9. Add the vodka sauce and the water to the pan.
  10. Cover the chicken and allow it to gently simmer for 5 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is melted.
  11. Remove the chicken rolls from the pan, remove the skewers, and slice them on a bias.
  12. Arrange the chicken onto a plate and top with the vodka sauce.
  13. Enjoy!
